This casting method is designed to play the video on old browsers usually installed on TVs, many functionalities of watchsomuch.tv is disabled to make it more compatible with more devices.
There are some tips you need to know to make it work:
- This feature only works on old browsers (as cast receiver) and needs a mobile device (as cast sender).
- This page and the mobile (sender) must be in same network with same public IP.
If the cast button does not appear, maybe the cast receiver or sender are not in same network.
these cases will cause the cast button not appear:
- One of your devices (sender or receiver) are connected through VPN. This devices IP address is: 3.131.37.220
- Your receiver is connected to Wifi and your sender (usually mobile phone) is connected to cellular data (mobile network).
- The receiver (this window) is disconnected from internet.
- If the cast button is visible and pressing it did not start the video on this device (receiver), refreshing this window may make it work.
- The receiver (this window) need to support Html 5 or have Adobe Flash Player installed to be able to play the video.
- The receiver (this window) is needed to open using http: protocol, because some old browsers doesn't support our new TLS, after it's loaded, TLS support will be checked and if your browser supports the TLS then it will be redirected to https: automatically.
